Information We Collect

Site Use Information

You also agree that we may use any information that you provide and may share it with our affiliates and third parties, only as described in this Privacy Policy. Before you can utilize some portions of our Websites, we may require that you register with Venterra and provide us with your contact information and generate a password. This registration information may be used, for example, for identification purposes, to communicate with you regarding your account with us or to facilitate the functioning of our Websites. We will keep any information that you provide to us for no longer than is necessary in accordance with the purposes for which the information was originally collected. Additionally, by submitting a rental application through the Website, you acknowledge that you are submitting your Personal Information to us and that we may use such Personal Information to determine rental eligibility and collection of amounts owed, and that we may share your Personal Information with our affiliates and third parties for business related reasons including but not limited to, credit reporting agencies, collection agencies or perspective purchasers or their agents in any manner allowed by law and as described in this Privacy policy.
Retention of Personal Information
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we retain personal information we obtain about you as long as (1) it is needed for the purposes for which we obtained it, in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy or (2) we have another lawful basis, stated in this Privacy Policy or at the point of collection, for retaining that information beyond the period for which it is necessary to serve the original purpose for obtaining the personal information. When determining the appropriate retention period for Personal Information, we take into account various criteria, such as the amount, nature and sensitivity of the Personal Information; potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure; purposes for which we process your Personal Information; whether we can achieve those purposes through other means; and business operations and legal requirements.
Because we maintain our Websites to protect from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residual copies of your Personal Information may be retained in our backup and archival systems for a limited period of time, after which the information will be deleted in compliance with the Texas privacy law.

Child Privacy
If you are under the age of 13, please do not use or access the Websites in any way. It is not our intention to and we will not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from any child under the age of 13.
